Over the past month and a half, the Renga Software development team has been working hard on a new version of the BIM system in order to implement new automation and optimization ideas and solutions in it. Today, Renga is a complex technological and intelligent product, which includes innovative approaches to the design process — it is a unique mechanism for collaborative and simultaneous user work in real time (note: developed with the grant support of RFRIT). This approach to working in a single model undoubtedly improves the quality of the project, but it may also consume more resources from users’ computers. We understand this and make the most of the possibilities of multi-core and video cards. And, of course, we are thinking about how else we can improve the performance of our system.

In the new version of Renga, developers have paid close attention to improving performance, as well as expanding the capabilities of axes, filters, and editing information in the model from the specification. The development of these and other functionality In the Renga BIM system takes place in accordance with the Roadmap, which is formed according to user requests, and where it is possible to track what has already been completed in full, partially, or awaiting implementation.

Performance is an important parameter that every user will notice, but it can be difficult to assess it unambiguously. Otherwise, it can only be done in the context of a specific task in order to understand how effectively it is being solved. But this time, everything is simple and clear: the new version of Renga will delight users by increasing the speed of executing the “Show to all” command.
