The Chemical Technologies Group of companies, together with KS-Development, won a tender for the construction of a chemical plant of a Moscow company [the name is not specified — approx. RBC Rostov], which will produce special organo-dilutable protective materials. The company is planned to be built on the territory of a special economic zone in Novocherkassk. This was announced by Sergey Vrublevsky, Director of the Chemical Technologies Group of Companies, during the interregional industrial forum in Rostov-on-Don.
According to the director, for the stable production of the planned range of organo-dilutable materials, it will be necessary to purchase and import basic raw materials from India, Egypt, China, and Iran on a monthly basis. There is no required volume of components on the Russian market.
To solve this problem, Chemical Technologies plans to organize the production of basic raw materials as part of the creation of the Don chemical cluster.
“The Tambov chemical enterprise OA Pigment, which produces benzene for synthesis, and the Lugansk Scientific and Production Enterprise Zarya, which processes raw benzene, can become promising participants in the cooperation,” added Vrublevsky.
The company offers as an alternative raw material an operational product of fractions C5, C6, C8, C9 [fractions of hydrocarbons — approx. RBC Rostov], which will be supplied from the Baltic Chemical Complex in the Kaliningrad region. Further, their processing will take place at the Zarya NPP. After that, the entire volume of benzene produced for synthesis will be shipped to Tambov Pigment. In the end, the by-products of the processing will be used in production using “Chemical Technologies”.
Vrublevsky noted that for stable production, in addition to technologies and competencies, it is necessary to have basic domestic raw materials.
“There are a sufficient number of enterprises in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions that are able to produce intermediates and products of missing raw materials,” the company’s director concluded.
Earlier, RBC Rostov reported that in the Rostov region, the production of chemicals and chemical products increased by 34.2% and amounted to more than 50 million rubles in January-September 2025.
