Central District Hospital

The goal of the project is to create conditions for organizing medical services for residents of Kunashir Island in accordance with social standards and requirements for maintaining health. As part of the implementation of design solutions, the construction of numerous engineering structures, administrative and amenity buildings, and medical buildings is planned on the site, in particular:
-the Central District Hospital (CRH) building;
-an infectious diseases department building for 6 beds (combined with a clinical diagnostic laboratory, bacteriological laboratory, and dental department);
-a pathological anatomy department building;
-a garage building for 5 cars;
-auxiliary buildings and structures (checkpoint at the entrance to the CRH territory, transformer substation, diesel station, boiler house, treatment facilities);
a system of retaining structures.
This is one of the company’s major projects, executed exclusively using the Russian software “Renga”. The design process took into account many aspects that determine the specifics of the design region, such as:
-remote geographical location of the facility;
-large differences in relative elevations of the land plot’s terrain;
-high seismic activity of the region;
-water protection zone;
-complex hydrometeorological conditions;
-seasonality of construction;
-seasonality of logistics;
-phasing of construction, subject to the operability of the existing hospital buildings;
the need to ensure the autonomy of the Central District Hospital.
All structures are designed using high-grade monolithic reinforced concrete in strict accordance with all regulatory standards in force in the Russian Federation.
As a final product, a detailed, high-quality project was created, and the use of BIM applications in the work allowed the customer and the Sakhalin residents themselves to visually see and evaluate the results of the work of KS-Development LLC.
