Central District Hospital

The aim of this project is to create conditions for the organization of medical care for residents of Kunashir Island in accordance with the requirements of social norms and health protection. As part of the implementation of the design solution, it is planned to erect a number of engineering structures, an administrative building and medical buildings at the site, including:
– the main building of the central district hospital;
– an infectious diseases building with 6 beds (combined with a clinical diagnostic laboratory, a bacteriological laboratory and a dental department);
– the Pathology Corps;
– garage buildings for 5 cars;
– auxiliary buildings and structures (checkpoint at the entrance to the territory of the central district hospital, transformer substation, diesel power plant, boiler house, sewage treatment plants);
– systems of retaining structures.

This is one of the company’s major projects, carried out entirely using domestic Renga software. During the design process, many aspects were taken into account that determine the specifics of the projected territory, namely:
– remote geographical location of the object;
– significant difference in the terrain of the site;
– high seismic activity in the region;
– water protection zone;
– difficult hydrometeorological conditions;
– seasonality of construction;
– seasonality of logistics;
– the stages of construction while ensuring the normal functioning of the existing hospital buildings;
– the need to ensure the autonomous operation of the central district hospital.

All structures are designed from monolithic reinforced concrete of high strength classes in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements of the Russian Federation.

In the end, we managed to create a high-quality detailed project, and the use of BIM in our work allowed the customer and the residents of Sakhalin themselves to clearly see and evaluate the results of the work of «KS-Development».
