Dmitry Kostin, a member of the Rostov regional branch of the all-Russian public business organization Delovaya Rossiya, commercial director of KS-DEVELOPMENT LLC, spoke in an interview with the City Reporter about the cooperation of the public organization with companies working in the construction sector in the field of digitalization of the construction industry.
— Dmitry, you have become the winner in the nomination “Application of domestic software in the field of information modeling” of the competition “TIM leaders 2023/24” of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation. Tell us about the project of the company “KS-Development”, which received the award.
— Our reconstruction project of the central concert hall of the Volgograd Philharmonic became one of the first in Russia, where information modeling technologies using domestic software were extensively applied at a state facility. Back in 2021, we started this pilot project and already then we relied on domestic software, in particular, on the Renga software package. To date, the facility has been successfully completed. The success of our project was noted by the professional community, in particular, the board of NOTIM.
— Business Russia plays an important role in the development of industry businesses, ensuring the introduction of integrated digitalization of the construction industry. How does a public organization accumulate this experience?
— Business Russia is a direct participant in the market and plays a key role in creating platforms for dialogue between business and government. Head of the industry organization NOTIM, one of the main participants of the competition”TEAM leaders 2023/24″ on the basis of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, emphasized that it all started with “Business Russia”. For us, Delovaya Rossiya is a kind of platform that allows us to discuss market processes and convey the aspirations of business to the authorities. Currently, there is a certain gap between the government’s perception of the current situation and what is actually happening on the ground, in the real business sector.
One of the most acute problems today is the shortage of qualified personnel and education. Delovaya Rossiya, business representatives and the KS-Development company — we see great potential in drawing attention to this problem and suggesting ways to solve it. After all, it is those who work directly in the industry who best understand which specialists are needed.
